The Rural Emergency Fund EO (BNF) – Helping People is a legally recognised and independent organisation whose aim is to provide trustworthy, swift and unbureaucratic assistance to people who have fallen into hardship through no fault of their own.

The Rural Emergency Fund is a Third Sector organisation, registered in the National Single Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS). The organisation is led by a nine-member governing body which, in monthly meetings, reviews applications for emergency assistance and decides on the support measures to be granted.

How can you donate?

The easiest way to support the work of the Rural Emergency Fund is by making a donation. Every euro donated goes directly to those affected. Donations to the Rural Emergency Fund can be deducted in your income tax return.

Who does we support?

Both farming and non-farming families and individuals can turn to the Rural Emergency Fund if they have fallen into financial hardship due to illness, death, accident, disability, fire or other disasters.
